Terms.
These are the rules for using Overink. Plain words on purpose. Using the site means you agree to them.
Your page
- You own what you put on your page. You give us permission to store it, show it at its address, and show it in previews, which is what publishing a page means.
- You are responsible for it: the links, the words, the images, and having the right to use them.
- An address (overink.page/yourname) is yours while your page exists. Delete the page and anyone can claim the name. Addresses that impersonate someone, or squat a brand, can be reclaimed.
- A page claimed without an account lives in that browser. Clear the browser, lose the key. Sign in and pages follow you instead.
Not allowed
Anything illegal where you or your visitors are. Spam, scams, phishing, malware. Sexual content involving minors. Harassment, threats, or content that exists to hurt someone. Pretending to be a person or company you are not. We remove pages that cross these lines and may close the account, without refund where the breach is serious.
Report a page
Seen something on an Overink page that breaks these rules? Email hello@overink.page with the page address and what is wrong. We look at every report.
Free and Pro
- Free is one page on the free looks (Blockprint, Clean, Freeform), with the Made with Overink line at the bottom.
- Pro is a yearly subscription sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar's checkout terms apply to the purchase itself. It renews each year until you cancel from your account page; cancelling keeps Pro until the paid year ends.
- Refunds: ask within 14 days of a charge and we refund it in full. After that, no refunds for a part-year.
- If Pro lapses, your pages stay up. Pro-only looks fall back to a free look and the footer line returns.
- Prices can change. Existing subscriptions keep their price until the next renewal, and you get notice before it.
The service
Overink is small and run carefully, but it is provided as is. We aim to keep it up and to keep your work safe, and we cannot promise it will never be down or never lose anything. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Our liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the last twelve months.
Closing things
You can delete your pages and account at any time. We can end or suspend access for breaking these terms, and we can retire the service with at least 30 days' notice, during which you can export your pages.
Changes
When these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and account holders get an email. Continuing to use Overink after that means you accept the new terms.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Overink's operator is established, and disputes go to the courts there, unless your local consumer law says otherwise, in which case it wins.
