Privacy.
Overink is a link-in-bio page builder. This page says what we keep about you, why, and who else touches it. Short version: your page is public because you made it public, your email is for signing in, and we do not sell or share anything for advertising.
What we collect
- Your page. The name, line, links, text and images you put on it. It is public at its address, that is the point.
- An account, if you make one. Your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. We never see a password; sign-in is a Google account or a one-time email link.
- Uploads. Photos you upload are stored so your page can show them. They are reachable by anyone with the file address, like any image on a public page.
- Payments. Pro is sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your card and billing details; we receive only your email, the order, and whether the subscription is active. We never see your card.
- Cookies. Two kinds, both needed for the product to work: an edit key so a page you claimed without an account stays editable in this browser, and a session cookie once you sign in. No advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
- Server logs. Our hosts keep standard request logs (address, time, page) for a short period to keep the service running and safe.
What we do with it
Show your page to visitors, let you edit it, sign you in, take payment for Pro, send the emails you asked for (sign-in links, receipts), and keep the service working. That is the whole list. No profiling, no selling, no ad networks.
Who else handles it
- Convex stores pages, accounts and uploads.
- Vercel serves the site.
- Google when you choose Google sign-in.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- Polar handles checkout, invoices, tax and refunds for Pro.
Each acts on our instructions to run Overink, and each has its own privacy terms for what it holds.
How long
As long as your page or account exists. Delete a page from its editor and it is gone, address freed. Ask us to delete your account and we remove the account, its pages and uploads. Backups and logs clear on their own schedule, within a few weeks.
Your rights
You can see, change, export or delete what you have given us. Most of it you can do yourself in the editor and on the account page. For anything else, email us and we will sort it. If you are in the UK, EU or somewhere with similar rules, you have the rights those rules give you and you can complain to your local data authority.
Children
Overink is not for anyone under 13, or under the age where your country lets you agree to terms like these on your own.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and, if you have an account, you get an email.
